The upcoming launch of HONOR’s latest flagship, the HONOR Magic8 Pro, has drawn major attention in Malaysia. With a significantly enhanced imaging system, the device has been officially selected as the Designated Imaging Device for Visit Malaysia Year 2026—a recognition that highlights both its industry-leading camera capabilities and HONOR’s commitment to advancing cultural and tourism promotion through innovation.

The upgraded HONOR Magic8 Pro features a 200MP Ultra Night Telephoto Camera, an industry-leading 1/1.4-inch telephoto sensor, and CIPA 5.5-level optical stabilization. With deep AI-powered on-device + cloud collaboration, the 200MP telephoto lens delivers improved stabilization, portrait performance, and crystal-clear zoom ranging from 1X up to 100X.

HONOR also announced a strategic partnership with Tourism Malaysia to support the promotion of Visit Malaysia Year 2026. As the official imaging device of the campaign, the Magic8 Pro will be used by professional photographers and content creators to capture Malaysia’s landscapes, cultural heritage, and vibrant cityscapes from unique perspectives.

To further showcase the phone’s imaging potential, HONOR has launched a nationwide initiative to recruit 50 photographers to participate in a special photo project. Their mission is to document Malaysia’s iconic architecture, cultural traditions, and meaningful everyday moments using the Magic8 Pro.

HONOR also released the first batch of photos taken under this initiative, vividly presenting Malaysia’s dynamic skylines, landmark attractions, and cultural treasures. More curated works will be showcased across HONOR and Tourism Malaysia’s social media platforms.
