The 2025 Chinese Table Tennis Super League women’s team final concluded with Shenzhen University claiming the championship after a 3–1 victory over Shandong Luneng. With Sun Yingsha sidelined by injury, 19-year-old Qin Yuxuan rose to the occasion, stepping in as the team’s top singles player and delivering a decisive two-point performance.

Qin first defeated Xu Yi in straight sets before overcoming Qian Tianyi 3–1 in the crucial fourth match, effectively sealing the title for Shenzhen. Her composure and consistency under pressure marked a breakthrough moment in her young career.

This victory caps an outstanding end to Qin’s 2025 season. Over the past two months, she captured three titles and one runner-up finish at the World Junior Championships, and now adds a domestic league championship to her growing list of achievements.

Shenzhen University and Shandong Luneng have become familiar rivals in recent seasons. After falling short last year, Shenzhen returned stronger with the addition of Miu Hirano and the continued progress of Kuai Man and Qin Yuxuan. Despite the absence of Sun Yingsha, the team’s depth proved decisive.

Following the final, Qin’s celebration alongside her teammates—and a heartfelt embrace from head coach Gao Ying—symbolized both triumph and trust. Gao praised Qin’s ability to handle pressure, while Qin expressed gratitude for the opportunity and set her sights on competing steadily at the senior level in 2026. As she transitions fully into adult competition, Qin Yuxuan is widely viewed as a key prospect for the future of Chinese women’s table tennis.
