(Hong Kong, 17th) Hong Kong actress Kristal Tin has revealed a concerning health update. In a post shared on social media today, she disclosed that her cancer has recurred, admitting that she initially struggled to accept the news, even exclaiming, “Not again… cancer?” The revelation has shocked many fans online.

Previously, during a medical check-up two years ago, she was found to have a shadow in her lungs and was later diagnosed with early-stage lung adenocarcinoma. She underwent surgery at the time and had shared that she was cancer-free and recovering well.

However, earlier this year, she sought medical attention again due to a persistent low-grade fever. After further examinations, doctors confirmed that the cancer had returned. While the news came as a heavy blow, she quickly regained her composure and decided to pause all work commitments to focus fully on treatment.

She also expressed gratitude toward her husband, Chapman To, who, despite being busy directing the film “Gui Jian Chou” and managing his business, continues to take care of her daily needs and medical arrangements with great dedication.

At the same time, Tin shared that her practice of Buddhism has helped her understand what it means to truly relax, allowing her to reflect more deeply on life and mortality. She is currently undergoing targeted therapy at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan, with encouraging progress, and reassured loved ones not to worry excessively.
