His current deal with Al Nassr expires at the end of June, and neither side has confirmed any renewal plans. Despite Ronaldo’s impressive form, he has already been rejected by both Al Hilal and Flamengo. FIFA President Gianni Infantino stated that he is actively working to secure Ronaldo’s participation in the Club World Cup. Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke has suggested that Chelsea should consider signing Ronaldo to bolster their attacking options.

According to multiple media sources, Ronaldo has decided not to rush into signing with a new team. Instead, he plans to join a Club World Cup team on a short-term deal and then decide on his future plans after the tournament.

In the past seven hours, two clubs have reportedly turned Ronaldo down. Saudi journalist Zahrani revealed that Ronaldo hoped to join Al Hilal, but the club rejected him because they are more interested in signing Lionel Messi. Additionally, Brazilian club Flamengo has also turned down the chance to sign Ronaldo. Their football director, Boto, said: “We’re not going to sign a player just for the Club World Cup, even if it’s Ronaldo. We don’t think it would bring positive results.”

Currently, Ronaldo earns €200 million per year in Saudi Arabia. If he moves to another league, it’s unlikely he would secure a similar salary. FIFA President Gianni Infantino has said he’s working to help Ronaldo find a team to play in the Club World Cup and is in active discussions with potential clubs.

Despite all this, Ronaldo remains in incredible form this season. He has played 41 games for Al Nassr and scored 35 goals, showing he’s still a world-class talent.
