Bruno Fernandes Agrees to Join Al Hilal! Man United Ready to Let Him Go, Transfer Countdown Begins

According to multiple reputable sources, Manchester United’s midfield talisman Bruno Fernandes has reached a basic agreement to join Saudi giants Al Hilal. While there has yet to be an official bid, Manchester United have made it clear they will not stand in the player’s way if he wishes to leave. Bruno has already begun discussions with his family about his future and is expected to make a final decision within the next four days.

Following a disappointing 2024-25 season, Bruno Fernandes emerged as United’s best-performing player and quickly became a top target for Al Hilal. Renowned journalist Ben Jacobs reports that Al Hilal has offered Bruno a lucrative four-year deal worth over €100 million. The two sides have been engaged in intensive negotiations over the past week, and the progress is reportedly very positive.

Bruno is currently consulting his family to weigh the pros and cons of moving to Saudi Arabia, with their opinion playing a crucial role in his final decision. Al Hilal hopes Bruno will make up his mind within the next four days. Though Al Hilal has yet to submit an official bid to United, they believe that once they do, Manchester United will not block the transfer. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has also noted that Al Hilal is willing to pay any fee necessary and is determined to get the deal done.

As for Manchester United’s stance, English media report that while manager Amorim and the club’s hierarchy would prefer to keep Bruno, they respect his decision and will not stand in his way if he chooses to leave. Bruno, now 30, made 57 appearances this season, scoring 19 goals and providing 19 assists. His current market value is €50 million, with a contract at United that runs until June 2027.
