Israel's recent surprise strike on Iran stunned the world, but according to CNN's June 16 analysis, what began as a show of strength could spiral into another war without a clear endgame.

Despite near-unopposed aerial attacks on Iran’s military and nuclear targets, Iranian retaliation has already resulted in Israeli casualties.
